Crossroads Care Kent has established a partnership with Chartwell House Care Home in Broadstairs, who have kindly provided a dedicated counselling space for trainee-led sessions supporting carers in the Thanet area.
Vicky McGuirk, Counselling Team Mentor, said: "It was lovely to meet Jude Coveney and Diane Collins at Chartwell House Care Home and for their very generous offer of a safe space to be able to offer trainee-led counselling sessions to our carers in Thanet." She added that the partnership enables support for carers in their roles while bringing communities together, noting "we are truly grateful for the opportunity to do so in such a wonderful environment."
This new space strengthens our capacity to support carers across Thanet, in a warm and welcoming environment kindly provided by Chartwell House.
